  1. I usually prefer standalone stories. Recently read a series of 3 books & the first one was good. The second one was excellent but the last one was a big disappointment. It kind of tainted how I felt about the whole series. If I had to do it again, I would have skipped the first & third books.

  2. I find it interesting when a something/someone is described as being “the last thing s/he wants”– e.g., “The last thing she wants is to get involved with someone like _______ .” I dunno– how many of us know ~for sure~ what would be the very last thing we’d ever want? How do we even know what’s out there, and whether or not we’d want it?
…Hope this makes some sense. It’s been a deep-thinking, existential sort of day. 🙂

    1. It makes perfect sense. You never know the last thing until you are actually in that situation and even then you might not be sure. I mean we all know roughly where are line in the sand is drawn but who’s to say that you wouldn’t cross it ever.

  3. This sounds like an interesting read with a single father as a main character. Thanks for the review.

  4. Knuckle Down sounds like a great mc romance, thanks for sharing your review and have a super weekend!
